Well, perhaps not a bar, but they're trying to make their way into the California governor's mansion.
Terminator and sexual harasser Arnold Schwarzenegger entered the race today, joining the likes of Larry Flynt, porn star "Angelyne," Gary Coleman, and Gallagher -- yes, he of watermelon-smashing fame.
Political pundit Arianna Huffington and her gay ex-husband Michael have both thrown their hats in the ring, but Diane Feinstein has declined -- perhaps wisely considering a single vote for governor could be spent on any one of 350+ candidates.
Well, at least the whole world won't be laughing at us... *cough*

I can't find any specific references to Angelyne being a porn star, but I'd swear I picked up that nugget of info somewhere -- perhaps ET or something, not exactly known for their investigative journalism, but still Jayson Blair-free. I suppose what she does isn't important, as that doesn't seem to be where she wants to draw attention.
Sadly, at this point, Larry Flynt seems to be the only one who has a solid plan to solve the budget crisis: gambling. I doubt anyone would argue that it would work. Well, it's one sure-fire way of transferring government money back into government. You figure it out. :-)

You know Arnold's going to take this, it makes me sad. Him being there means some spooky Grand Vizier from the GOP is going to really be making all the decisions.
